Welcome to the Rifenburg Companies

Since 1958, this family-owned business has satisfied customers with its dedication to the project, its emphasis on safety, and its ability to take on big challenges while getting the job done responsibly, on budget, and within the timeframe.

Rifenburg Companies News for June

Unbelievably we are still waiting for the State Legislature to pass a budget!  This delay is extremely painful to NYS businesses.  Please, if you haven't already done so, contact your state legislator and insist they do their job so we can do our jobs.  Our livelihoods depend on it.

Rifenburg Construction has been extremely fortunate to be awarded several projects.  The three largest are valued at close to $100 million.  The total difference between us and our competition on these three projects amounted to less than $500 thousand.  That says something about how very competitive it is right now, with fewer projects being bid, and more bidders hungrier than ever.  Our winning record is due to employees who are efficient, safe and hard working; and clever estimators who take that value and put a sharp number on it.  We appreciate everyone's effort, together as a team we are successful.

Marcy Excavation is working on new landfill cells in Ontario County and Chemung County.  Rifenburg Contracting is finishing up work on the landfill in Albany County, and is low bid on a new job at a landfill in Dutchess County.  Rifenburg Construction in North Carolina finished up at the Williamsburg International Airport and is moving to Virginia to work on runway rehabilitation at New River Valley Airport.  They will also be working on facility improvement at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.  Park East has updated the rental fleet, and been able to supply customers with a number of excellent sales and rentals.

Have a very safe summer - and don't forget to watch out for our family members working on roads throughout the state.
